LIVE NATION - ATLANTIC CITY BEACH CONCERT SERIES
Atlantic City’s Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) desired one of the world’s most recognized promoters to bring crowds to the city’s beaches and manage local politics and city-wide logistics for hosting a mega beach concert series. As a local agency, Masterpiece was tasked with brand positioning for the leader in superstar entertainment and promoting Atlantic City for summer visitation and tourism.
Since its 2014 partnership with DoAC, the tourism marketing arm of Atlantic City, Masterpiece had already seen great success in driving the local marketing and event logistics, responsibility for local, regional and national PR, and creating digital and print creative collateral, including tickets, RSVPs and website design for beach concerts featuring Blake Shelton’s and Lady Antebellum. The ongoing partnership with Live Nation also welcomed performances with Jimmy Buffett and several other national and international acts through 2019.
During the five years working with DoAC and Live Nation, Masterpiece oversaw the events’ promotion; casino, VIP and media credentialing and check-in; media and sponsorship tents; coordination of concert logistics with city and public safety officials; coordinating pre-, day of and post-concert media coverage; and social media opportunities and publicity.
Five Mega Beach Concert Series resulted in extensive media coverage, social media postings, record numbers in concert attendance/ticket sales, and millions of dollars in revenue generated for Atlantic City. This effectively positioned the city as an entertainment leader and leading East Coast summer resort destination.
