NEW JERSEY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY – EVERGREEN FUND VIDEO

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) wanted to increase general awareness about a novel new program it was getting ready to launch (the New Jersey Innovation Evergreen Fund) and engaged with Masterpiece to create an animated video that would cover the essence and key features of the complex program and spur participation in it.

Intended to facilitate strategic engagement in New Jersey’s innovation sectors, the Evergreen Fund seeks to create alignment among the resources of New Jersey’s established corporate citizens with professional venture capital investment firms and early-stage businesses in New Jersey. Our goal was to help the NJEDA reach a broader audience of corporations, venture capital firms, and start-up businesses in New Jersey, the three distinct groups targeted to participate in the program, as well as provide the state agency with a video they could utilize for a media and public relations push.

After extensive research and collaborating closely with NJEDA’s team, we developed a strategic script and storyboard for a video that distills the complexities of the Evergreen Fund into three minutes, increasing the program’s approachability. Included in the video was a call to action to drive viewers to the NJEDA website to learn more and accelerate engagement with the agency.
